BigC: If I were you, i`d look at other 1/8 brands setup sheets also. The good set up is very much dependent on the traction, tires and general team planning...
Usually guys new to shepherd run very stiff rear end 800/ 1000 oil in rear shocks and 3mm anti roll bar. When their lap times start to improve they just add rear toe in. we had just +40 EC in Sweden, The winner -mugen second- Shepherd and third_ serpent had all very similar set ups The outcome of the race between 1st and second was determined by tactics. The second place guy switched tires in the closing stages of final and the winner gambled- He did not...

They are not rubber sealed, so less friction. These are endorsed by Shepherd, and I believe they are steel not ceramic. I think the only ceramics they have are diff balls for electric cars.

Hello,
yes our Brilliant bearings are steel-beraings.
These are very high quality bearings with less friction then most ceramic on the market.
Also for the 1/8 scale they are near to maintance-free. We put them in and use them for a whole season.
That explains the high price.
