Hey all
Tried to post some pic's of my chassis, but it wouldn't let me until i have made a certain amount of posts.
Mods so far, crc side spring mod, 104 diff/shaft also trying a crc front hub mod i have been working on.
Best result so far, was Q2nd and finished 2nd at the racing lines international(behind a F109), January 2010 only 4 days after purchasing the car.
It has done me well at club racing but recently our club has changed venues from outdoor ashfelt, to indoor dusty concrete. The guys with rubber tires are blitzing us guys with foams. If anyone has any setup advice for low traction surface, im all ears (caster, camber, pod droop, side springs etc...) Cant afford to go to rubbers just yet.
Thanks in advance

Unfortunately no tire additives of any kind are allowed in New Zealand.
As for diff setup, i think i have just fluked it. I have it so there is just a tiny amount of slip from a standing start. Also highly recommend ceramic balls, totally changed the feel of the diff

If they can run rubber, you should be able to coat your foams.

It's not an additive, it's actually adding a layer of clear silicone caulk (like you would use in construction) that will be dry before you ever run the car. This was a common practice in USA dirt oval and at one point 1/12 many years ago.

does it still matter what compound the foams are with the layer of silicon on them?

Hi Guys, has anybody attemted to convert one of these to World GT as I have an F109 and want to run GT, if anybody has done it can you post pictures maybe so I can follow them to convert my one, looks like it just needs longer rear body mounts and a bumper/bodymount holder fitting to the front.
Help would really be appreciated.
TIA
