Default how to convert l8ight to 8ight 2.0

I was just currious what it would take to convert the 2.0 l8ight model into a buggy. I know that it is only a handfull of parts. The reason I ask is I dont understand why the l8ight is so much cheaper then the 8ight 2.0 race roller. So I actually have a losi 1.0 and a l8ight And I was thinking about converting the l8ight instead of getting a new 2.0 race roller. What would I need and what are some oppinions on this?

You will need front and rear shock towers and a set of rear shocks since I believe the l8ight uses buggy front shocks on both the front and rear and the eight bumpers and that should be it

The l8ight has a shorter chassis (but you already knew that.)

Shock towers, rear shocks, front bumper, front and rear body mounts, wing and its mount.

Yeah I know all of those things. Whats weird is that it has all 2.0 parts on a 1.0 chassis. Even the rear drive shaft is a 2.0 which I am scared that it would bottom out and bend coming down from a jump when the chassis flexes If I dont trade it for a 2.0 buggy or truggy in the next couple of days then I am starting the conversion.

I might sell it as a complete car with motor and servos just to get enough money to put twards a brand new 2.0

If your L8ight has little time and in good shape i would really look at just converting it to an 8b. Recently i converted a buggy to late and was about $160 although no ebay listings had L8ight stuff. Original 8ight towers as well as 2.0 sometimes go very cheap. then like said one more set front shocks and then get a little front bumper and body and your on....

I know a guy that converts his back and forth depending on the season. It seems to work for him. It can be done and it is just a handfull of parts.
