I tried the Orange front and Pink rear springs on Friday, straight after trying Pink/Blue with all the same other settings, 400 oil on Sorex 28JB's

I found that the Orange/Pink felt more 'direct' when turning into corners although the lap times were all but identical.

This was on my T4'14, not the T4 with RX4 conversion

Hi Skiddins

Thanks for the update, i am in the process of ordering a RSD conversion for my TC6.1 WC to run in the 2014 BRCA TC nationals (mod class). I have been running the car so far with TRF aeration dampers and HPI springs with some good lap times but the car will need to be a bit quicker still to keep up with the new cars i.e Mi5, New T4 and awesometrix at national level next year.

Default Broken parts

I broke a rear tower on my lower shock conversion. Also lost a lower ball stud for the shock conversion. I do not see any separate parts available for the kit?? Do I have to buy another full kit to get parts?

Ran the RSD Greens (progressives) this past weekend on my T4 14. Really suited the car nicely and ran track record pace. Still running reds on my RSD RX4.

Nope. Fairly high-bite carpet. I generally like the feel of firm progressives regardless of surface. Ran back to back with 2.7s all around and had similar times, but preferred the feel of the greens. Running reds on my RX4.

Tried the Orange/Pink combo on Friday again.

Car got progressively worse through the evening and even though the lap times got quicker each round, it was increasingly hard to drive.
I was fourth off, blue with yellow and orange;

The car seems to look a lot better than it felt!

Also noticed that running such hard springs has put a 'ring of death' on the outside front after just 4 runs (Sorex 28JB)

Will test the progressives for the first time on the T4'14 when I next get a chance.

I ran the RX4 for the first time and wow! The car was so much better with the basic setup. I did make some improvements which gave even more onpower steering. My T4 RX4 has never been faster. Money well spent.

Cristian, can you tell me what the difference is, in pivot pin spacing, between the standard T4 and the RX4 conversion.
I mean the distance between the inner pins, we have a discussion about track widths comparing the T4'13 with the T4'14 but as I've got your conversion on I can't tell anymore.

Thanks
Skiddins

Based on my message in the '14 thread, you should be able to find any delta. Though I think my spreadsheet is still pretty accurate.

Thanks Ethan.

From what I have measured, our conversion at max width front and min width rear is about as wide as the T4 stock. i don't however have exact dimensions.

From the '14s that I have measured, it seems to me the car is slightly wider at the rear in stock trim. Like 0.5 on each side maybe?

The '14 is a very nice car. Our new RX4v2 is also fantastic. Can't wait to get them out. It will be a few more weeks. We really want to get it right. We feel like we have make a breakthrough with the chassis balance so far.
