Default Official PBR Hobbies thread and schedule

This will be the place for PoorBoy Raceway and hobbies located in Grants Pass Oregon at 1223 Rogue River Hwy. This is a completely indoor 10,000SQ FT facility with the track measuring at 110'X65'. Pit's are full wired with enough circuits to support anything your heart desires. New HO lights have been installed throughout the facility for lighting that is far superior to most tracks in the northwest. Track is open for practice weekdays from 10am to 6pm Tuesday through Saturday. Practice cost $2 per hour or $8 for the day. So bring your gear and your tables and come have fun at this new track and facility in Oregon! We will be starting our weekly points series this Sunday and Hope to see you there!

I attended the opener this last Sunday, and I posted the following in another thread. I will re-post here for convenience:

Awesome day! For those of you that are on the fence, get out there and hang with the Grants Pass guys! Fun crew and they ran a very good program! Turnout was good, racing was close and track conditions were consistent all day! 3 rounds of quals plus mains so plenty of runtime! Indoor warehouse so weather was not a factor, lighting inside was great so I am sure they will night race eventually. Tires will last forever on that surface, I hardly noticed any wear at all - my tires still look new! Nice pit area with easily accessible power and plenty of room. I had a blast and once again I want to thank Mr. Bartle and Caleb for all the work and effort they put in to make that track happen! Awesome stuff! I had a blast and will definitely be back sometime!

110 X 70 lane width between 8 and 11'. Tight and technical track, with real jumps and sections . E-buggy times are in the low 30's high 29's.
