I mean i could be way out here maybe this topic is talking about bashing, if thats the case then do whatever you want doesnt matter just dont poke an eye out with that thing.

rigging is rigging, my point was that it doesn't work right out of the box as stated. However, the Hudy, Dynamite, and Losi do work right out of the box. They just work a little better if you clean the bearings.
It doesn't matter what balancer you use, all are better than none.

No need to add tubing. It comes out of the box ready to go, the ONLY
thing you need to add is a hub and you can pull one off your car in
about 30seconds. Now the up side to using a hub is that you can use
the DuBro for anything from 1/10 to 1/8 scale wheels. Now if you
consider having to add a hub as "Not Being Ready Out Of The Box"
then fine but the simple fact is the DuBro runs smoother no matter
how much work you do to the bearing units. Now if you really want
to get precise get a TopFlite unit that runs on magnets. You will
grow old waiting for them to stop.
I never said the bearing types dont work they just need a little massaging
before they will work at there best.
