The Hitech servo is crap! lol
Thanks, funny to see we have the same cars considering they aren't the same generation at all

I actually just found a second used HW 1S so we will have this speedo on both cars

here it is straight from CRC if you have the xti and are converting it to the altered ego chassis and are still running inline you just need the 3 peices from CRC which is called the kit you are not able to run transverse until you buy and add the transverse top plate which is $15.99 and you also have to get the longer links the stock number is 3281 then you can run whatever way u want to.

Default new xti main chassis

Just wondering what xti owners here in the USA are doing with the xti are most converting to the alter ego conversion?

I would like to know more about this too. Is the XTi too nimble or not stable enough for most drivers? Or is it about the type of tracks?

Both of mine are set up for inline with the kit parts only. I run mostly 13.5 and 17.5 blinky and see no need to change the configuration.

For me, i dont really go to the alter ego but just in case i cant fit all my gadgets in it. I dont run 12th scale for more than 20+ yrs. I will put in a futaba gyro for fun. I am afraid the inline is too packed

I'm not the fastest, but here is my sugguestions, let's see what the fast guys think...

Inline setup:
RH Front 3.2
RH Rear 3.5
RH Center 3.3
Center droop 1mm over RH
Center spring Red
Camber .5
Side springs White, just touching
Front spring .5
Kingpin .404
15K oil on the kingpin
30k oil in the tubs (I do my differently then the book so I run 10K, but put a lot on and in the tube and bleed)
Center oil 30wt AE oil
Fronts - CRC Chrome, cut to 1.63
Rears - CRC Low-grey, cut to 1.67
.5 shim under the front center shock ball
0 toe in on front ( I run .5 of toe out, but that is because I want more turn it)
5 on front caster
Car is balanced right to left
I shimmed my servo so the steering links are level across
Total Rear with 171mm
Total Front, one shim on the outside, one inside. but with high bite, full wide..
Roll out (I'm running 92) but that is because of the track... start with 100.
Set dual rate to half the lane.
Mount equipment as low as possible.
1 drop of bearing oil after 2 runs on the wheel bearings.
SXT 3.0 Treat rear full, front 25% to 30% and looking to go as little as possible. Front is pushing on me at the 4 min mark, as in over .7 of second loss in lap times... Need to reduce this, so working on getting a setup that will not fad as bad at the 4min mark... it is really bad at 6 mins to the end....

Ok so fast guys... let see what you think....

Nothing special...just an assortment of springs for center and side, the front upper braces in long and short (long arm one is for my Xi), and the Xti front ride height shim set.
