get the GO TECH i just got a 5port turbo and man am i pleased i won't ever buy anything else. these motors are fast, reliable and people are getting around 10gal on them and they are around $200-250. imo you cant go wrong with the GO motors. on the spin start im not sure. get with brian at PTM(Pro Twister Mods) he can tell you if a spin start will work on the GO's. do like i did read the GO Tech thread. yes there is some bad but man look at the good side of it. you will have to heat the motor before you can start it. pinch wont break till around a gallon. so that means heating it through a gallon. these motors are just so tight it s not funny. but man are they good pulling mills for half the bills of the other comp. plus the jp-4 is a good pipe and also the GO 0801. just read the GO thread. it will help you make your own choice, it did me

yeah the tuning problem is you have to make very very small adjustments. and you actually tune then by the ls needle. its kinda backwards but its worth it

The motors that just arrived do in fact have the carb issue taken care of, the problem befor with the long lsn was it was closing off to much of the spray bar, the very first GO that where on the market had a short NR style lsn, they changed this to help calm the bottom down mainly on the 5 port's they have brutal bottom end grunt.

Noq with the new internals and combination of having the first version short lsn these engine will be what they where always capable of. I have one modded 5 port turbo with the long lsn NIB, and am recieving another with the new lsn, i have ran GO's for 2 years and love there power, reliability and runtime.

v specs are also very good, i would put them in the same bracket as the GO 5 and 7, all 3 have very good bottom end, the 5 infact has a bit more, but the os spits out a tic more top, for my tast the GO 7 port is it, smooth strong bottom and endless top like the old nr 421, just a fast drivable engine, and good runtime as well. We ran a innovative design 6mm carb insert in the test GO 7 port with the GO 0801 pipe and hit 12 min in a xray 808 driven by Dan Reino

I heard they are fantastic motors with good run time. Run it with a O53 pipe and see the engine wake up after a gallon. Dont forget to use the OS P3 plugs. This is entirely my opinion. Good luck!!!

man ive tried the following motors

GRP
OS SPEED
C6BBT
VSPEC
EB MODS VSPEC
GO 5port
Go 7port
WS7x2 modded
NOVA 367
rb mods go 5port

and the easiest to tune out of all them was the vspec/gotech's. the gotech's are my favorite so far but ive only ran a few weeks with the 5port.. And the 5 and 7 port go motors will be faster then a vspec but vspec get better run time. inless u get the rbmods 5port which i have and it gets same run time vspec does with more POWER. now if it only gets 6 to 7 gallons on this motor ill be very happy. But my least fav is the GRP found this motor hard to keep tuned and not very much power. then the NOVA 367 didnt like it much either the rest where pretty good.. But dont let anyone tell u that go motors are junk thats just BS u wont get support like them else where either.. and u might want to check out Sirio i hear there good motors to..
