Hi. Anyone watched the video by Drake to set gearmesh on the MBX7R ECO? Anyone know the partnumber to use a clutch like what he has on his car in the vid?

He uses a Tekno elektri-clutch. Not made anymore. Losi makes one but doesn't fit as good.

Hello all decide to get back into racing building this car with a Tekin RX8 1900 combo.

What gearing works the best for an all round setup. The stock set up 14/46 or 15-16/44?

Track I will race at is in S Florida Mills Pond and Coral Springs. Mills is large, Springs Medium.

Any advise for build or setup would be appriciated!

Plan on running two 2S in series.

Thanks again

You should carry a 14-16. That should cover you on 95% of typical 1/8 tracks.

Looking to pull the trigger in a new ebuggy this year, narrowed my choices to this and the xray.

Does anyone here know if the newer kits will include the updated diffs and other bits that are coming out?

Not to my knowledge, from what I've read they are larger capacity. I was mainly curious

No problem with the old diffs. The new diffs were developed to hold more oil and keep temps down during long mains.

Cool, so no issues for eco mains! Are the eco kits coming with the new diffs?

No i do not thonk kits have the new diffs, i am sure they will be part of the next MBX7 evolution.

There is absolutely nothing wring with the stock diffs.
