The Tekin Spec GT class will use a 4.7 FDR and approximately 10 degrees of motor timing on the endbell. Genuine Tekin Flex Jacket wire will be provided again and must be used in the class. Shortening of the wires is allowed, sensor harnesses will be provided. Timing will be set to match all motors kv at the factory to assure a level playing field to maximize the closeness of racing.

If you have any questions, either Randy or myself will answer them to the best of our ability.

In regards to late signups for a class, as soon as you know you want to add a class let us know or add the class on the site. My fear, even though it shouldn't be my fear, is if a class becomes full you might not be able to run it. So let us know as soon as possible.

/Sarcasm on

The correct gearing for 4.7:1 in the Awesomatix is a 14/120 gearing

/sarcasm off

I think 4.7 is a good gearing, you probably wont even need any motor fans.

4.7 and no fans ? You kidding me? I'll have two 40mm fans facing rearward for turbo boost down the straight. Just listen for the whining when they spool up!

Nobody needed a fan last year to be honest. I had guys removing them to increase their finish voltage at the end of the run.

Hottest motor temp recorded last year via data logging was 160f. No fan, Tq run.

That is one great thing about not only this system but their other systems as well, the data logger. It can tell you so much about your setup and when you make changes the end result in the data log file. I see it and I primarily race off-road.

You can expect the highest quality, you have come to expect in the BSR Racing Tires line, now available in the JACO line produced by BSR Racing Tires. The JACO WGT part number is JAC2100B front and JAC2110B rear. Look for them to be available in September at your local track or hobby shop.

We look forward to having JACO and BSR Racing Tires be part of the International Indoor Championships.
Kraig,

Have not seen the JAC2100B and JAC2110B foam tires yet.

Will the wheel offsets of these new JACO WGT tires be the same as the old white ones. Would be nice to be able to setup the widths of my WGT cars prior to arriving at Vegas.

Thanks.

Thanks Dave. No offense; but, the fact that they are Black kind of keeps me wondering...To me, Black would indicate they COULD be BSR/CRC wheels.

Maybe Kraig can chime in to clarify?

Early reports of the spec tire(touring car) show that the glue job on these premounts are horrible. I witnessed a fellow racer today have three of the four tires come unglued after two packs! Anybody else see the same trend or is this an isolated problem.

Bill,

There is no conspiracy to advertise one wheel and send another. It's a simple case of we didn't have enough time to have the white rims made and shipped to us for assembly. Using the black rims that we already had allowed us to make the tires, which have already shipped and on their way to Las Vegas

Enjoy the race everyone.
