Everyone that ran the CEN went to another C hub buggy. (Kyosho)

Thats my .02 cents worth

The cars handle extremely well. They are the best I have seen in the rough stuff!

Personally I run a Mugen MBX5, and I'm currently waiting on my MBX5R. I'm just comfortable with the handling and dependability of the Mugen, yet they are pricey!
But alot of guys do run the Matrix Pro kits in my area with some really good success, from what I have seen of them(and lil bit I have driven one) they handle and jump well. It's all got to do with who you put it in the hands of, you've got racers that understand setup and adjustments, and those who are just on the track makin laps!! For their price tag the Matrix kits seem to be a bargain!

cen buggy and truggy
i'm looking foward to receiving my cen buggy and truggy. i met smolnick, hickerson, and sokol at the futaba nitro challenge. it was the first time that i saw the cen vehicles up close. they appear to be a qualilty product, the buggy and the truck performed well at the race. anyone with set ups or some helpful information would be geatly appreciated.

i put together my matrix pro last weekend, i was impressed with the quality of this kit. i have had a prospec and also a losi 8. the quality of the fit ranked in the level of these two, if not higher in some areas. the fit and quality of the licomponets was better than i expected. these are a few of the grades i wil be getting, machined knuckles, machined towers, machined to blocks. i ran it alittle this afternoon, not on the track though,, seems to turn in well, and also accelerate well. the big shocks seem to work well on the rough areas i was running on. does anyone know what the stock toe plate is on the pro version.(toe? squat?) the kit don't say. what diff fluids are you guys running.

I ran the car on sunday and have to say im very impressed. The car was great in all areas but had a slight push. A friend and I, he drives for Xray and I drive for CEN, worked out a basic setup and it turned out to be pretty good. I have since lightened the oil in the front shocks and made a couple other changes that im going to try on saturday. The push might have also bothered me more than others as ive only driven 1/10th before. Only one part broke sunday and that was an AE steering servo horn. As for diff oils im running 5/7/2 (f/c/r) in mugen oils. The 2 might be a little lighter or heavier as i mixed 1k and 2k as best as i could. As for the toe block i believe its 2* toe and 1* squat.

I havent tried any other diff oils but i will try to try them this weekend or next weekend at the BOW race.
As for the stock rear block its 3.2* toe-in and 2.7* of anti squat.
