Tires:
Pit PS-574 fronts (stock insert)
Pit PS-575 rears (stock insert)
Wheels:
I like the exotec with the 3mm offset.
Dampers:
Side: Convert to a single damper tube and start with 30K diff oil.
front to rear: I used the team associated main shock, but for the yokomo shock start with stock.
Springs:
Side: Yokomo purple (the softest spring you can buy)
Front (King pin spring front end): Mid (.018 wire dia)
Front Axle:
Trailing (behind the kingpin)
Ride Height:
as low as you can make it: I'm running the 2mm spacer upside down and my car is still above 5mm in the back. i'm running of about 4.6mm in the front.
Front Wing:
replace the Yokomo one when it starts to sag. Tamiya F104 wings are a direct replacement.
Tire Sauce:
1/4 sauce to no sauce on the front
full sauce the rear
you biggest problem will be moderating between push and traction rolling. you can do this with the tire sauce application on the front tires. I am not the fastest guy on the track but i have gone from a undriveable car when i first tried to race it to a pretty quick car. Now it's only my driving holding me back.
good luck

protoform body fitting
Made some prototype parts to help with fitting the protoform bodies. I'll see if I can upload some pictures.

Nice ride! Welcome to the YRF camp
One thing to look at is your front steering links. Your servo is too far back. Move the servo forward so the steering links are parallel or slightly v'd.
Also, run your ESC flat.
However, the manual illustrates it exactly the way you have it. Give it a try and see how it goes

Thanks for the advice, I had to move foward 1mm to be with 14,5 mm as suggested in the Manual.
If I lay down the esc, the body don't fix perfectly.

Even though he is running the direct crank system. The links should be orientated like that.

No news about a new chassis or a new car to have the lipo in "cross" position like the Xray like see on Martin Hofer car at the ETS ?

Nothing as of late. I'll keep you posted.
The Yokomo chassis as it stands does really well in the rubber and foam tire classes. The YRF-001 is consistently on the podium.
Martin Hofer's chassis is his own thing. Maybe Yokomo will look into releasing a chassis upgrade/update. It really all depends on what direction Yokomo wants to take with this chassis.

Transveres YRF-001 Project
After checking out Martin Hoffers setup I decided to do the same.
Though a little differently. I had an old R12 C3 main chassis plate and cut it up in order to extend the links outward. Then I took a C3 rear pod and mounted it up. The Yokomo C3, YRF, Team Bomber motor bulkheads all are interchangeable.
Enough talking. I'll do a quick video on what I did.
For the meantime, here are some pictures for you to fire up your motivation to do the same.
