Why is it that RC'ers are so quick to blow money? $50 bucks for an upgrade mat, no thanks. Jegs mat, $10.

I use this one

Great in my house table and at the track, I also have a rubber upgrade mat attached into a small working table.

I use the Duratrax Pit Mat. It has the recessed areas to put screws and stuff, it's easy to clean and very durable and doesn't break the bank:

Default Yoga Mat

I tried the yoga mat like above suggested at the track today and it worked perfect. At home I would probably still use a towel because I'm cleaning, but at the track the yoga mat works flawless. Great idea. My girlfriend was like see I told you that like 2 years ago.

Go one step further and get some 3M spray adheasive so you can attach the indoor/outdoor carpet right to your pit table. Works like a champ. Then if you still want to use a rubber mat you still can.
