Default newbie

Hi my name is Cj and I am new to the sport of RC I am going to try to come and help with the workdays or at least one of them. I would like to introduce myself and meet some new friendsand find a place to run my car I currently just play in the driveway. I just have a Traxxas Rustler Elec. all stock 12 turn 550 titan planning to go brushless here real soon and upgrade the truck for the race environment and possibly go nitro.

shovels, rakes, tamper, garden hose
sprayer with weed killer
buckets to pick up debris and rocks off the track.
Waterproofing deck stain for the drivers stand and pit lane.

Thanks to everyone who came out and helped work on the track today. Also to those who supplied equipment, tools, and supplies. The track layout has been changed, and is mostly ready. The tubes still need some spikes, a new loop needs buried, and a few other things. A few days of rain wouldn't hurt either.

Below are some pics. Remember, the $5 race is 5/3/09, weather permitting. We will then skip our normal second Sunday (Mother's Day), and the first points race will be 5/24/09.

After all the rain the track did very well.
The grade we put on the track worked very well most of the water flowed right to the pond.
I pumped all the water out of the pond today.
Track should be in good shape for sunday.
Cya everyone there Sunday
Thanks Tony

Thanks for replying, everyone. It appears we have a decent cross-section of people here and a lot of well thought-out discussion.

We are off this weekend at the White Park track, but we have a special event this Saturday at the nearby Monroe Missionary Baptist Church track. All the info is on the flyer below. We will be back at White Park on July 26th for Race #3 of our Summer Points Series. See you there.
