I think that any of the CF plate cars Ive seen would twist with the stiffner taken out thats why its there. I used to have an aluminum brace I made for my Tub chassis since I milled out the entire spine of the stock one it was like Josh Cyrul had on his last year. But I had to take it out even tho it stiffened up the chassis alot it would hold the tweak when I would go wacking the wall. After I took it out there was a little more flex but it didnt affect how it handled accept that it heald its tweak better.

im sorry brian, you took it the wrong way.i was just stating that it is the car being stiff that takes the tourqe steer out of the car.i used warpspeed as an examle because it was the first car that came to my head with batteries on the opposite side.i am a firm believer that it is a stiff chassis that takes the tourqe steer out of the car.it was not a knock at warpspeed

Default We are

talking about the differences if the battery is on the left or right. Nuff has been said.

The verdict is: which ever you choose just balance the chassis (if it needs to be balanced if you see any torque steer)

Barry Baker still kicks butt with a FT- TC3 chassis mlled or not.
Give him a BMI he will kick ass!!! Give him a warp he will kick ass also after he figur out how to tune it or drive it since ithas a different configuration.

Peace and Happy Racing!!

To answer that would be hard without more information. Track size and type( tight turns or long straights) Type of tire and size. The best thing to do is ask someone who is running there. Go here and make yourself a gear chart and a rollout chart they are handy to have.Gear ratio chart

With the numbers quickly available itll be easier asking questions at the track.

Thumbs up Gear Chart

Cheers for that chart!!

The MPH chart is a bit of a giggle too, especially if you mess about with the figures

Default NTC3 steering rack

ntc3 swing rack #2228
ntc3 swing rack hardware #2229
You might want to change the bushings out to bearings. I use the ntc3 stearing system on my tc3 and it works great, very smooth.

This was written to me on page 15 of the BMI Racing discussions.

anyone have a pic. I have a NTC3 and just by looking at the two side by side, just doesn't seem like a drop in deal.

nono, it is in fact NOT a drop in deal. you have to some work on the chassis to make it fit, mainly cutting away the the parts the the chassis that help strengthen the front end.
