Transmitter (3PK) Lipo question

thats plenty. i use a thunder power 1320 3S and it will last a month of racing easy 2 days a week. 8-10 hours of runtime from a 1320 so the 3000 you should hafta charge once a year lol

Actually I think it's a little overkill, unless you're one of those people who only want to charge once every 4-6 weeks. I'd go with a lesser amperage BUT LIGHTER pack. 3PK is a pretty hefty transmitter without battery. You'll thank me in a 30+ min main. I believe amain sells the protek 1000mah. Plenty of juice for a race day

I have a king power 2500mAh pack and I love it. I don't notice the weight at all. It's not that much different than the 8ooNiCd pack when you're actually racing.
Unless you're a 6 year old girl, if you don't want to worry about the battery, get the 3300 if you want it. I wouldn't get a smaller one after goin with the bigger one.
In my mind it does help to keep the balance a little better. Put's the weight back on the bottom.

One thing though, u need to do a little soldering to hook up a plug but the price is right.
magbarnis are right, one of the major reasons to go lipo is that they are relatively light. The weight difference is very noticable if u compare a 1100mah lipo pack vs. a Nimh pack. This makes a difference in long mains (imo).

Either thats the wrong picture or he's feeding you a line saying that one will fit a Futaba. That one that's shown looks to be more for the JR/KO radios.
