Hi guys do you know of any other brand's of rear belt that will fit the car e.g. xray, yokomo, just rear belts for this car are hard to get in Australia atm

Hi Guys, I have just got one of these and before I start building im wondering if there are any tips that I should now ?? Like should I build the shocks with 2 O rings ?? stuff like that

My biggest tip for the car is make sure you have something where you can fully organize the "bag of plastic parts" vs the normal bags.

I know that's not a pro tip. But this kit can be very confusing. As well as make sure you align the arms on the correct side during the install.

A few people have told me that the front ally driveshafts were a weak spot on the TCX so they use these steel drive shafts 88914. Will these still fit the TCXX as the drive shafts on the TCXX have a 2mm pin compared to a 2.5 mm pin on the Steel drive shafts

We did have a bunch of spare and option parts come into the factory over the past 2 weeks so if the HS doesn't have them in stock they will need to call and check to know when the part(s) will be in the system for ordering.

Hi, don't use 88914, the fit isn't perfect and they need to bed in. I have some in my TCX now but I wouldn't buy any more.
Instead use 68794 much better fit with the TCX steel outdrive 68769 or 61087 whichever you can get hold of works fine.

Thanks, Those you mention are 46mm long but on the new TCXX the front drive shafts are 44mm long. Does it matter switching between the 2 ?? what other changes will I need to make in order to run 46mm front drive shafts/ dog bones

46mm work well on the front TCXX

I use Spec-R double cardan 46mm, strong and no chattering, need to use the old steel joints 61087 or joints POM 68770.

The other advantage of the 46mm shaft is that you can use either spool cup. If you use a 44mm shaft then you'll have to use the long one, which is a pain if they go out of stock. I actually think the shorter cup is stronger too.

Thanks for all the replys, but I have to ask. Why do I need to change the spool cups when I change the front drive shafts / dog bones from 44mm to 46mm ??
