i wanna know the opinions of the racers that use the jp1-4 pipes.. for example, the jp 2 get good fuel milage with good power band.. or something like that... i have the info about the pipes like: jp1= low to med torque pipe, jp2 med to high torque pipe and so on so forth.... racing info is what im looking for, milage and powerband etc....

In My personal opinion the complete line of JP pipes are all fuel hogs. I have lost as much as 3 minutes of runtime compared to other pipes..but the JP-3 is one of the best pipes ever made for all around powerband smoothness, and overall power..you have to make an educated choice based on your track, how long your heats are, and your mains

Yeah I stopped using my JP 1 and 2 pipes a long time ago. For some reason my jp2 didn't perform well with any of my engines. JP 3 is the best all around!!!

I've run the Jp3 for a while now on an Evo3 Picco.

Has a very nice pull and makes great power. It gets "good" mileage on short tracks; but I'd say it would fall short on larger tracks compared to other selections.

So running a JP3 on an Evo3 Picco on an old, heavy Jammin' X1cr buggy on a short/med. sized track getting 9+mins is bad?

I ran the same car on the same track (same day) with a Nova Plus21-5k and Nova 9886 and the GRP 2053 pipes...got the same mileage with it...the Picco/Jp3 was right on top of it.

Now I KNOW the GRP's and new Nova's will/can do better...but also on much lighter chassis configurations (the Losi 1.0 and 2.0 are over 10oz. lighter than my car).

As far as temp goes, I don't know...I've only run it on the Picco, but she holds a rock steady 225 without issue.

i got a buddy that runs the same motor and buggy, the losi 8ight 1.0, plug but different pipe, i didnt have the jp pipe and he was getting about 12 min run time and he ran a temp of 230 and it was all there.. i really dont want to run the same pipe, i think his motor has been modded, i cant remember but i have also heard that the jp pipes run the temp up also.. a couple guys told me that from another thread

I have both the JP3 and JP4 and love the JP4 more because it has better runtime and more top end than the JP3. The other thing that is different between these 2 pipes is the JP4 has a smidge less bottom end than the JP3 which is perfect for me in a buggy. Don't want all the bottom end snap wasted on wheelspins.

I own a JP1, JP3 and JP4. I am currently running GRP engines. The JP1 definately helps out the bottom if your running a .21 on a truggy, but def. lacks run time. I have never tried the JP2. I have 2 JP4's I ran for a short while on the JAMMIN JPX engines and then tried them on the GRP.21 & 28. On the .28 doesn't seem to matter much what pipe, they are already overpowered for most tracks. Basically the JP4's are a back up or paper wait. The JP3 pipes are screamers, seem to work best for me. They seem to have good bottom and top. I definately like the sound they put out on a .28 engine.

Be prepared for a weak bottom and a good top end pull (if you ever get it up there).

If you're running an RB S7 (or family thereof) I'd be looking for a JP3 or a Novarossi 9853 or even RB's own pipes...

yeah, the tracks i run on are high speed.... if not i will find another pipe, never hurts to have multiple pipes for different tracks right....

I run a Jp-1 with my Lrp Z28r and I love it.Our track is a med size track with alot of jumps and technical sections so the added bottom end is a blessing
