LRP SXX StockSpec V2 ESC

Hi MeBeMikey,
the BRCA max voltage is 8.40v, and they are quite strict on that at National events, so if you plan on doing any Nationals, then I'd advise you to back your charger off a little!
Rule 3.9 LiPo/LiFe batteries may be charged to a maximum of:-
2S Batteries may be charged to a maximum of 8.40v (LiPo) resp. 7.40v (LiFe).
1S Batteries may be charged to a maximum of 4.20v (LiPo) resp. 3.70v (LiFe).

Phew! I was worried and we both are right in the end!

Just had confirmation about 8.44. In offroad they are strict and 8.4 is the max but in TC 8.44 is allowed due to charger variations. I posted it on my FaceBook and two different drivers, one who races for Hotbodies and one for Schumacher both said TC is 8.44.

Rule 4.3 Maximum voltage of 2S LiPos to not exceed 8.440 volts
at any time, and maximum voltage of 1S LiPos to not exceed 4.220 volts at any time.

And it was cool...for me anyway..80 deg c after 5.30mins..Might have to take a smidge of timming out for the 6min run..

Well, I'v put the LRP fan back on and I'm now able to do boost 9 and 11 on my X12 13.5 and have improved my fastest laptimes and almost got another lap! It took me a bit to get use to the new weight distribution.
I still don't like using fans but it did allow me to go a tiny bit faster. I'm also on 6.0 FDR.

Understood...
No issue for that race as I am in for the pain of MOD
Just for the clubbies for the rest of the year it will be nice not to feel the need to lug a pc around to every meet....
I have it dialed for the 21.5(X12) but would like to see a good 17.5 setup on it to!

two identical setups, extremely different results
Hi all.
I know this is the "on-road" forum for the SXX stockspc V2 (and I drive a 2WD buggy) but i think you guys might know the answer to my problem.
My buddy and I have the exact same car (b4), gearing 75/25, motor (LRP X-12 17.5) and the same ESC (LRP SXX Stockspec V2). We also have our settings the same on the ESC (3/1/1/1). This should be a very mild setup. Our radios are the exact same and we did the calibration the exact same way.
When I pull the throttle on my radio, I get a pretty gradual ramp up of speed and I feel some boost kick in at the end of the throttle curve. On my friends car, it feels WAY faster almost as if as soon as you pull the trigger, the car is almost at top speed (yes our throttle expo settings are both at 0) and then when you gun it all the way, the motor rips like a 5.5 turn mod motor and it almost blows the wheels off the rims.
I have no idea why they would be so different. Both have good drivetrains. New bearings, no binding. I wonder if maybe we have different firmware versions and one of them is set for a very aggressive default profile?
Any thoughts??
thanks!
Bryan

Brian, Only way to tell is by hooking them up to a computer but it can also it can be your batteries, even if you have the same batteries too. Do you charge at same amps? You can try his battery or his charger to see if that is the difference.
