Looks pretty nice, big vent holes It's a pitty though that it has a plastic cap on the back instead of aluminium, but the connectors seems to be much easier to solder than other motors (except SpeedPassion)

I am biased so I won't go into performance aspects because of course it is FAST!

But two aspects of performance stick out. One, the motor runs very cool which prevents fade especially in the stock classes where motors can run hot and fade toward the end of the run which results in slower lap times (on road) and the inability to clear obstacles (off road). And two, they are very drivable in the modified classes. The power band is very smooth so drivers who race both on and off-road appreciate the motor's feel.

Overall it is a very good, fast motor. It is backed by an excellent long standing company inthe R/C industry with team drivers available to assist with gearing etc.

Hi Rick, just a couple of questions, did you tested it with various esc brands? Which one is best suited for your motors?

There will be a Reedy esc in the future?

Interested to try these motors in mod. Hara used one at RROC, I heard it's not the fastest motor but it is very very smooth, and the driveability makes it a contender

It is now corrected, but the motors all come with the 12.5 mm rotor.

There is no one brand that works best but the LRP and Tekin were used in most of the testing.

Not the same. A lot of motors start as the same thing but are altered and modified to suit a particular vendor. So they may share the same DNA but ultimately are different motors.
