Questions?? Essential spares for racing?

Hi

i am starting to race next year and i am wondering what are some essential spares to have in your kit for a race day?

What car do you run ? As some cars ae renowned for breaking particular parts.

If you run the C1...i don't think you cant brake much....it is bullet proof...if you get the R2 RTR...that it is a bit weak generally speaking. I think the best is to get some parts of the R2 into the C1 ( ie diffs ).

I have been running the C1 for a while and i haven't broke any part...on the R2 i bent hing pins, drive shaft etc...

spare plugs ( a must)


shock springs assorted rates

spare front lower and upper arms

spare rear arms

spare turnbuckle ends

turnbuckles

spare reciever pack battery

air filter foams

screw kit.

thats basicallt what i will buy when i get a new kit.

so do the C1 parts fit onto the R2?
So the spares i should get are just diffs?

Yep most of the C1 part are going into the R2. Which one do you have?

the you are fine...if you wish to upgrade it get the R2 diffs...but i dont think it is worth...better if you get something new then.

As far as parts, the C1 is very strong and as I said it is very difficult to brake parts...i would suggest to leave it and if you break something you buy..otherwise you end up to buy stuff that u dont need!

If you need cen bits ring CEN new zeland, Chris is a top guy. When i had my i use to buy off him every time! Quick and cheap! Unfortunately i just sold all my cen stuff otherwise i could have help u with some spare!
