Default Which engine

I have 2 engines a Axial .28 Spec 1s Racing Engine and Nitro Star K4.6 .28. Which engine would be best for just all around bashing on an old ultra lx comp.

The one you can get parts for if either are close to being out of date.
Stong engines!

I cant believe over 30 people read this post and no one has any input on what engine would be more dependable for just holding a tune and bashing.

they are both nearly 100% identical motors, mad ein the same identical factory...both mills have identical port timing etc......... so run whichever you wish...IMHO i would drop those 2 and buy a better quality higher output engine to rely on

Well this is just a hobby not my life. I am not going to drop 300 in a new engine just to turn around and break it doing flips over my house. So if I can get an engine for around 150 or less and run 3 gal. through it then Im happy. I didnt ask anyone to dog these engines or to tell me to get a better one. I just wanted to know of the two which one would probly last longer. Just simple and to the point.

with those two i would go with the axial .28 its a very good engine for the money, and i know a few guys that race them in there buggys and truggys and do very well with them, and for bashing its one of if not the most used engine there is...
