I will be picking up my yok tomorrow and very excited to run it. I've read pretty much every post on this thread and think I've made the right choice over the B5m "lite". I'm looking for some setup help as I run a med size, dirt/clay mix. It's usually damp to drying and gets dusty offline. Fast guys run worn chain links or electrons rear and ribbed in the front. Compounds soft or superfsoft, depending on temp. I've downloaded some of the setup sheets from here but any additional help would be much appreciated!

Anybody have any insight on the taller or shorter servo horns? Just curious if it an adjustment for the rack rising and falling or if it is just 20mm because of leverage with the system

thanls for the set-up sheets and pics. Going to start the build this weekend. I have two more questions. First anything to watch for during the build? And second with my track type on mind should I get the ball diff instead?

I've been running the YZ-2 on a low to medium bite dry clay track. The car has allot of corner speed and steering due to it's weight distribution of 40% front and 60% rear when used out of the box. The car I was running before the YZ-2 was 34%/66% for distribution.
On our local track with M4 Electrons I could do fast laps with the YZ-2 with a normal setup but the consistency was an issue as the car lacks some grip in my opinion. I was able to improve my consistency and lap times by adding toe-in in the rear. I'm now using 5 degrees. I know some will think this is a bit crazy but it really helped. I played with anti-squat and found that 4 degrees worked well for me.
Last week I tried a rear front pivot made of brass that weighs 22gr and some brass battery weights that weigh 30gr each. I used 3 of these battery weights placed behind the shorty. By adding weight to the car it improved stability some more and made my laps even more consistent.
Prior to the brass rear pivot and brass battery weights I was running the YT-RW25 steel 25gr plate under the pack.
Hope this can help some who race on lower bite conditions.

I tried to go the same route as teeforb In regards to a ball diff. But amain are out of some of those parts already. Any ideas on getting those parts anywhere else? Also are all diff & thrust balls the same size for 1/10th scale? Maybe a could just buy b-fast

I see that B-Fast has the diff and thrust balls for B-maxIII 4, B-max2,B-max4. Has anyone tried them out on yz-2?
