Default RE:Countdown

Hey Boyz,

Just got back from the Vegas warmup @ Fastcats. I ended up finishing 5th in 19T. Dave Johnson TQ'd and won. EA's Mike Wise finished 2nd. I was pretty happy with 5th considering the competition in the 19T class this weekend. The JRX-S was dialed! The eXpress 4200's and KD were a stupid fast combination this weekend.

One thing I thought I should mention. We seemed to be getting excessive comm wear and brush burning with the KD's this weekend. Jeff and I ended up using XXX brushes in our KD's which were a great improvement! We geared up a tooth because of the added torque of the lemans brush and man o man were the KD's fast after that. No brush fade at all throughout the run. This was an awesome combination with this motor. I was also using a small drop of Tribo on the comm and it seemed to help a little as well. 7.0 FS on the + and 6.5 on the neg, both purple springs.

Rob S, The new DNA body was quick in both 19T and mod! I think I liked it better than the G6!

Tag, thanks again for the door prizes! eXpress was one of the more generous sponsors of the event

Great job Mike... Yea those KD19T do put out some heat to brushes but power is awsome.. We too at times have switched to XXX. Jason has used them alot and when his car is real good he can get away with another brush for that added RPM.. But yes XXX do run a solid 5 minutes...

I hope to be talking to JB this week too,look foward to that...

Congrats of the great runs...

Awesome runs guys!

Mike;

Good to hear about the DNA body, I like my G6 a lot so I might try an DNA for my Losi, should have it back togeather soon. Are you planning on going to to Race Against Cancer in November?

Aaron;

Good run today man, well deserved win! Too bad I couldn't start the main, I'm sure it would have been a good race between us. Oh well next week!

Tag...JB from Fastcats? He finished 3rd in 19T! He's been on fire lately!!!

Rob, I think you'll like the DNA body...it's very stable and has lots of steering. Dale Epp was @ the track this weekend and he was asking us how we liked the shell.

Yeah I'll be at the Race for Cancer. It's such a great event. I'm really looking forward to it. Besides, I've got to defend my title!!!

Thanks Rob, I appreciate it! Finally a 8th scale win after some hassels this year. It felt good, real good actually. I know if you would of started the race or would of did more than one lap (I'm not sure if you started or not)...you would of had something to say about me cruising to the win by over a lap. You had a great TQ run thats fo sho. I was on pace for it or close to it one my second qualifer before my rear diff bearing blew on me. It definately was going to be one hell of a good main.

I'm happy I have some momentum going into the GLORC's series final now in Niagara Falls, Ontario.

That is gonna be one mother of a race thats for damn sure, but I think with a little luck on my side and a nice smoothe qualifier with no problems in them, I think I have a shot at the A.

Mike,
Nice runs!

Tag,
Thanks for donating prizes Tag. Even though I wasen't there reppin' eXpress I would like to thank you because I like hearing the compliments on how great of a team that we have. THANKS

Hey Martin! Thanks!

Yeah I've been experimenting with a lot of different set-ups lately and I finally found something that I like. I can't wait until the new Losi's out! I was talking with Keven about the new car...he had a pre-production version. It was dialed!
