I've done the following:

Reset spring, damping, ride height and droop
Checked chassis is flat and not tweaked - it is flat
Checked rear ARB is balanced - it is balanced
Checked weight is balanced left to right - it is balanced
Replaced rear springs
Replaced rear SPR02

Not sure what else I can do beyond replacing the rear shocks entirely? If anyone has suggestions I'd be glad to hear them =]
Check all the CF wishbones ( C04 ) to ensure they are all flat / no damage.

I want to see the bottom pic, is the ball end supported by the screw on the other side, thus causing the "flex"?

Thanks Magnet Top. I'm going to fully strip the car down and rebuild it tomorrow, need to do something with the front diff cover too as I brushed a barrier tonight and rather than it prevent the FFG twisting it just popped open and the FFG twisted up. Rather frustrating but that's racing, makes the good days all that much more sweeter =]

EDIT: I saw the FCB on Freddy's car when he came to the ICC and if memory serves that ball joint is on a pivot (pin maybe?) and is held in place with some o-rings which act like springs and that's how it flexes.

the 4th largest carpet race w/in the USA is happening this weekend -- at the home track of our the 2014 ROAR Carpet Nationals 17.5 Champion _and_ many other Awesomatix runners.

So far:
- in Modified Josh Cyrul is 2nd after round 1 -- but needs a cleaner sort to survive a TQ run
- in 13.5 TC three awesomatix in the top 3 - Adam Brown, Bill Sydor and Art Scrimo. Kyle and Brent are on the outside looking in -- but they will be fine.
- 17.5 TC is about to start round 1 now. 7 heats -- by far the largest class

The cars are working very well at MHIC, and the team has been working together to exchange ideas. Kyle and Art put my 13.5 setup on tonight and immediately picked up a ton of pace, so the final qual in 13.5 tomorrow should be interesting depending on what grip does overnight. We're expecting rain and snow so it's a mystery what track we'll go back to.

17.5 is a battle, always is. The XRay guys figured it out and started getting very quick. My car is a little too stuck now. I'm going to try freshies in the morning and maybe a change to bump toe in the rear.

The race has been amazing. Grip is high but bitey, so you can't throw the cars around or they'll snap oversteer. Now, time for some sleep. Tomorrow we'll see if I can hang on to TQ in 13.5 and find some pace in 17.5.
