Cheapest place to buy Hudy tools?
#2
Cheap and Hudy are not applicable in the same sentence lol.

very true , hence the reason I'm trying to find a place that sells them for a little less than what I'm finding.
I was also considering EDS as they are great tools too and cost less. Pricing out what I need though isn't much less than the Hudy so I may as well get the best.
I hate buying tools, I can think of a lot better things to spend $250+ on.

Ask yourself this: is the $20-40.00 you save on a set of tools worth the frustration of stripped screws, dremelling and hacking you'll likely have to put up with to get stubborn screws out of your car?

nothing goes near as fast as my 2.0 wrench. Doesn't matter what brand it is for me, i usually go through 1 2.0 a year. everything other size i still have original mip for 3 years.
I use eds tips for my driver and they are awesome.

i use turnigy drivers. cost me $30.00 our money so like 18-20US, one set per year between 5 cars. as long as you start with new screws and keep them clean the drivers will last. throwing them in your box isnt the best thing
anther thing: could just be the awesome quality of the cars i drive???

Give Stormer Hobbies a call, they have 1 left in stock and probably want to move that. If you talk nice and kissie kissie, they might be able to kick out some free shipping for you and knock a few bucks off the sell price. My go-to folks for Xray/Hudy stuff.
Even if you end up spending the full $269, have no worries, they are top caliber tools.

I ended up ordering from here. Rather than getting the 1/8 set, I was able to piece together a set for a lot less with everything I needed and even some tools I haven't been able to find anywhere. They are the only place that even list the Hudy flywheel puller.
Thanks
