That's a nice electric EIGHT I have to say. I personally thought about building one for the winter up here. 1/8th scale electric has their own series up here usually around 5 or 6 cars.
On a main GMK sells so really nice throttle return orings in different sizes. Some you won't use but they are reasonably cheap. I use the clear hair tie bands from Walmart and wrap and twist it around the inlet nipple. They work very nice and you can't even barely see them on the motor when done correctly. Pm if you want more info on that route.

You dont have to drill any holes or change the buggy in any way except for the servo tray. you can change it back to nitro power for the summer and run electric in the winter.
It is quicker off the line than the nitro and tops out around the same speed. you can get 20min + on one charge running a 4s 5000 mah pack.

these throttle return springs work great, some slight bending may be required on some carbs.

You guy's having better luck with the new, outer rear hinge pin's?
#4034
Broke 2 shocks today and a front hinge pin plastic brace today. ouch! It was a bad hit. good thing I had a whole other shock sets. But the shock cap bottom is bent so I need 2 of those and the hinge brace cover but they are on backorder everywhere so I am kinda bummin' but whatever I still had fun. Does anybody know when to expect Losi to have all the backorder parts ready?
edit: Well, just got some shock bottoms and hinge pin brace covers. If anybody is looking for some PM me.

How much does the car weigh without the battery? How many minutes run time with that 8,000mah 4S LiPo?
Best regards,
