The reds has less bottom end compared to the M21. The Reds is no slouch though.

The Virtus is thirsty at first. After its fully broken in it starts getting better mileage. Some people can make 5 minutes, and some can't. Making 5 minutes with the virtus is possible if you drive smooth with the throttle.

The rear bearing is stock novarossi ceramic. The front begins as a steel novarossi bearing. The steel balls are replaced with ceramic.

Gday Uriah, got a 35 + with about 12litres threw it now, been running like a champ, absolutely love it. Today the rod let go on me, was running a bit rich sitting around 220 was running good, then lost a bit of power pulled in, leaned a bit another run then bang, just shut down game over, snapped in the middle and destroyed the brass bush and the rod. I know its a bit hard to say without seeing, but what are the causes for this type of failure, I am definitely the first cause. any help would be appreciated, Ill try and get a couple of pics up for you.
cheers Burty.

Forgot to add,i replaced the rod at 8 litres, should have done it sooner maybe???
cheers again.

Im sorry to see that. Hard to say what caused the failure. It could be a faulty rod, fuel. I replace the rods in the 35+21 each 4 liters if I'm pushing the engine.

Gday again Uriah, thanks heaps for all the help, I'm going to get another one of your motors and I was pretty set on getting another 35 +,but im torn between it and your M21 , tracks tight and short, M21 work well with nova 2015 and med header? What plugs for the M21? I've got a few c8tgh novas, but if I get the m21 would also like to get picco plugs.
cheers again for all the help.
regards Brad

Both engines are great. You can use the 2015/41016 on the M21, it works well. You can run the c8tgh, or Picco #7 plug in the M21. Both engines have awesome low end for a tight track.

What model RB is this? I can't find what it is and it's not on your website. The motor is supposedly brand new and is coming with the 2012 nt1 I just bought. He says there's less than a gallon thru it and IMO its not fully broken in if that's the truth. I paid $100 for it not including the car, did I get a good deal?
