the chain breaker in that how to is the Expensive Motion pro version....about 80-100$....Ebay has a knock off version for 35$ that is IDENTICAL and does the exact same job....there are no adaptor's to swap and does not require the bone's to be removed from the chassis...its just easier with them out....and another tip is you HAVE TO use red LIQUID loc tite when you press in a new pin....they can and WILL walk out if you dont.

for the past couple weeks a freind of mind has lost the barral and grub screw out of front drive shaft. im pretty sure im completely out now have to get more. friday we red lok tighted it and it dried for about 10 hours. he put the buggy on the track and after 5 laqps it was gone. ended up putting a whole new fr drive shaft in. he made it threw half a 20 min main+3 5 min qual. and then again it fell out. maybe somthing in the diffs are over powering. i do know his pins are flat and cant help nothing. but the replacment shaft looked a little better.

Very important to clean the set screw and cup threads to remove any oil. The thread lock will not help if used on an oily surface. I was having a wierd binding problem in the front of my 8t, after several attempts to correct my 'diff problem' I finally figured out it was caused by the pin being worn. Replaced the pin and good as new.
