racing is back to normal schedule 2 weeks from this sunday ,2nd and 4th sundays of the month ( always) , so get your buts out there on race days when the track is clean and being raced on. its the closest youll get to the real grip situation, and itll be run anti clockwise ( FEMCA direction) full size track , only 1/12 will be short track

8 minutes is 8 minutes, they are covering the same distance overall, so track length will have little to do with runtime. It will also be a headache for practice and people running 2 classes, will have to learn 2 different tracks.My 2c..

I think what chad meant on small track for the 1/12 scale is the layout for electric TC used at the national event for EP held at whallan which is counter clockwise not the mini small layout......chad's also right ppl running 1/12 scale come down on their clubby day so they see and sort which will be used the whole track or the electric layout(counter clockwise).....

If anything stock should be running the shorter track, not 1/12. In 2009 when lipo JUST came into 1/12 racing I ran lipo and was making runtime okay when I worked it all out and was the top placed lipo car (2nd). And the fastest lap times for 1/12 and Modified were the same. 12th scale is more than fine doing a full lap of the track
If your quick on the stright but unable to get round the rest of the track without dumping then think you need a little re think
