Yes I was, were you? The bodies look about the same size as the mini shocks and the shaft length is about the same. The only difference might be the height of the top cap. I don't have a set of the mini shocks handy to compare to my TC shocks. Is there anyone out there that can compare the TC & the mini TRF shocks side by side?

I know, and that is what the picture shows. The body on the left is 2-3mm shorter and the shaft is shorter. That's why the shockcollar is all the way at the top compared to the shock on the right.
Judging by the comparison picture, the shaft is shorter, the body is shorter, and the cap is shorter. Everything fits with a mini shock, my only question is the cap height on the mini shocks.

The shocks in the pic have a shorter shaft and a smaller cap, but the cylinder is the same.
As to the 6deg C-Hubs I want them already, I do run more caster to calm the front end but I would rather it be in the C-hub not along the whole suspension arms.

Look at the picture again. The flange on top of the shock bodies are inline in the picture. The bottom caps on the shocks are not. The shock on the right has a longer body by a few mm. The odd angle of the picture doesn't make it easy to see the difference, but it's there.

You just saved me doing that however that should show that its not the mini shocks.

however I think that we could already modify the standard shocks,
for an experiment I manage to reach a length of 55mm.

I have been getting 5 raceday's off my sorex 32. Replace tires once a month. I don't think it is the tires worn out maybe too many setup changes, your car was working really good last week! Went out today drove Steves xray t4 it didn't have as good of midcorner steering as my 417 it was interesting! Now I need more hp for my 417. It was good driving a car that works good drives well. I almost felt like a good driver again!
