not sure if this has been mentioned but the guy from RC Insider said that they were running the control tire of the reedy race, and by color of the track SDRC and OCRC are definitely not the same type of surface. So if the B5m looked good enough on SDRC is going to be sweet on a truer clay track.

In the interview they said they were able to get the molded chassis stiff enough for the RM and although they would have much preferred a molded chassis on the MM, the design didn't allow for that so they were forced to the aluminum chassis. So I suppose they could make a molded chassis for "more flex" or "moar traction", maybe.

The RM was designed completely around brushless motors and lipo batteries. I've been told it is hugely faster than a B4.x, anyone who choses RM wont be disappointed.

I think rear would be faster quicker, for most people because thats what we are use too. But once you put the time in with the MM it'll be just as fast or faster. I'm in a tight spot because my main track could be a blown out 1/8th track sometimes, and other times its not. And I also race sometimes in the winter over in the states, where MM is the more obvious choice.

I like what they did to the underside of the chassis, and they commented on it in the video too: the lack of screws underneath. VERY clean! And no holes that aren't used because of different positions and so on. I've never used a chassis protector before but for this clean piece of aluminum I think I will..

Regarding battery placement...nobody knows if using saddles it will be possible to place a pack in the rear, instead of the electronics? Maybe to gain traction for very low traction tracks?

Has anyone been able to verify that there are now "channels" to run servo/transponder wires without having to cut the chassis? All pictures I have found have electronics installed
Nevermind, I was able to see from the raw chassis picture that there is a large center chanel with cut outs for the connectors

Because the RM car has been in the design phase for nearly 2 years, long before the MM craze hit, which is why you can get the RM 6-8 weeks earlier.
