I recently purchased the slipper eliminator with a 69 tooth spur I was thinking of running a 34 pinion for an FDR of 5.38 on a larger carpet high traction track. Is this a good FDR or should i go with a 33 pinion for an FDR of 5.54?

What motor are you running? If its anything lower turn than a 13.5 using a slipper eliminator is a bad idea.

im assuming he is running stock.. most motors come with a reccommended FDR.. what motor is it.. i personally think 13.5 might still be too much for a slipper eliminator..

i would think you would be ok in the 32-34 range.

My conclusion on this stadium truck is it is awesome on medium to high bite with treads or slicks. Blue groove is really good too. Anywhere running wet track needing pins didn't work too well. Was able to get it back work well on outdoor blue groove with dusty edges with the 4 gear laydown. Tons of steering and Corner speed. In any event running outdoor wet track now so will be selling mine. It was fun.

Putting it for sale in the forum if anyone's interested

Just finishing up my XT2 build and looking for a good gear ratio to start with. I am running a TSR 13.5 motor on a tight carpet track.

Running brass weights with a ball diff and the truck is fine with pin tires.

It looked like Tessman just put two shock towers together in his track at Nats.
