Weight is a big factor, you want the car to be balanced and as close to the weight limit as possible. This will depend on your car and electrics.

In the Xray T4 I run Reedy 7000 and SMC 7200 (I believe these are from the same factory, they are the same weight, size and performance). Have yet to see anything with better performance at that weight (320g), and the 18 month old Reedys still perform almost as good as new, even though they have swollen a bit.

Atsushi Hara uses ProTek RC batteries. And he obviously has his choice of any brand in RC.

That's not true I expect - he has a sponsorship arrangement with Amain and they own Protek.

I never make untrue statements. Hara chooses to run ProTek because he trusts them and they provide the best performance.

And my point was he can use any battery he wants and he does in fact exclusively use ProTek batteries. Not because we have a deal, but because he chose to use them. Yes we do sponsor him. All major brands sponsor drivers. It is an important way to support RC racing and secure ambassadors to help our customers while providing feedback for future products. Drivers like Hara provide incredible data and enable us to continually offer the best possible product to our customers.
