OK this may sound dumb but would a lower VOLT battery be better than a Battery with a higher Amp (C*mAH/1000)? for instance is a 7.4v @ 5200mAh 25C (130amp) better than a 14.8v @ 2200mAh 20C (44amp)? I'm thinking the 14.8v is better but still not quite sure? thanks again guys.

as far as i know, the capacity does not matter, just the c-rating. 20c or less but a 15c the best.
I'm gonna be power coating my box tomarrow at a buddies house and then im gonna reassemble. Rewired all internals with 14ga. motor wire (hobby shop off brand but is silver stranded wire). I will post pics asoon as im done

15C is NOT the best...there's more to it then what you think.

If so then please explain!
I have heard and seen more problems from lipo's with a c rating higher than
20c. Thats in my opinion just like everything else posted on this site.

Im Not a lipo guru...but know enough to know 20C is Better then 15C when used in the proper application....you are 100% entitled to your oppinion...just like every one else....it does not mean you are correct tho.

Hey guys, I got my box working finally and put 2 new stock motors in it and wired it up but cant get my grp non tuned engine to turn over, its really tight. I heated it up to 200 but the flywheel is just stuck at the top? Is there anyway to get the flywheel backs down manually so I can try again?? Also the box seems to have lots of power!!

1st: In my opinion, That means that i know that i may be wrong just what i believe, so lets get that behind us...OK
Now for that c-rating thing, in general lipo usage, 20c is always better than 15c but for a starter box with a lack of a better term, CHEAP MOTORS, trying to push 40-45 amps continous with a 20c or would you rather push 30-35amps continous with a 15c....just what i was getting at. I suppose if you upgrade your motors with a little better motor than the stock motors you probably would be fine. And once again all this is IMO. Interga, Ive read alot of your posts and you seem to know alot so im not in any way calling you out. Just my thoughts......

Cool beans bro...your theory makes sence...especially on the somewhat weak stock losi motor's....ive been running my 20C packs on them for almost a year now with zero issues...but then again....I GRILLL my Pitmen oh how to start my cars.....as i could care less to have them pop another set of motor's on me...either way were all good Mike...No worries.

flathead screwdriver is the only real way to pop it from TDC....try not to maul the crap outta the flywheel tho. ...lean the motor down to....then richin it back up once fired....if i remember right....all the Ninja's i broke in needed a significant lean down before they wanted to fire...then i promptly put them back to a uber rich setting....granted i break in on a break in bench...but same deal imo.

you can go a little on both IF needed....but it should only be the High speed for the most part....the GRP's should be set pretty close from the factory.
