Umino's setup was very good tonight with Jaco blue. Only changes I'm running are 1k in the gear diff and stock width up front.

1 degree of camber all around really brought the car alive. This car is more sensitive to camber changes than any other I've tried. I can safely say the car I drove tonight is the best I've ever had at our track. Consider me a believer.

Now that the BD7 id at AMAIN and if i see the parts show up soon this will make buying a new car so much easier for me!!! Big plus to have amain! Plus ive been watching vids and the BD7 looks SOOOOO much better on carpet then the t4 and 417.

The TC6.1 was quick when the grip out my local tracks was higher. It would be inconsistent though when grip was lower.

The BD7 has more stability and is more adaptable to changing track conditions. It 'feels' it has more grip and is easier to drive.

I have only made very slight setup changes to the BD7 from week to week to improve the setup.

I agree with this. The car seems to be very unaffected by the track changing when grip is low/medium. I'm curious how it will behave in high grip. And it really is ridiculously easy to drive.

The kit setup works well for that. The recommended one on petit anyway. I would go 1-2k in the rear diff though.

Here's Umino's 17.5 setup which I think is a great place to start.

The changes to this setup I've been messing with (13.5, Jaco blue, med traction)

1 degree camber all around.
Stock front width.
1k diff oil.

Yokomo measures droop from the middle of the outside hinge pin when the chassis is flat on the board. With a ride height of 5/5.5 front to rear, that came out to be about 1mm front and 2.5mm rear of uptravel (over ride height.) They seem to want to use almost none up front, it might have even been less than that.

Also, I had some spectacular crashes last night and didn't break anything. I really think graphite everywhere except c-hubs with a HARD bumper is the right choice. Hopefully someone will make a hard bumper that looks like the stock one soon.
