Do the Killshot motors fit the Xray T4? I know thre was a problem when they first came out. Wondering has that been fixed or not?

haven't been racing for a few weeks until this weekend. Day one of qualifying is over but we have one more heat and then mains start tomorrow at our Top Gun race. I am qualified 4th out of 14 right now. Very pleased with my rpm killshot still. There are a few elite Team Powers guys at my track that I can no way catch up to. Its pretty depressing at times. So after todays race I said to myself I have to get more out of this motor. I have been geared down to 3.4 and motor timing set to 60*. I had a feeling this motor was capable of doing more and finally decided what the hell I will try it. I turned timing up to 70* and to offset the temps that could of happened at gearing at 3.4fdr. I geared mine at 4.1 to see what would happen. I thought for fun it was going to go fast then poof in a lap or two. My gut feeling was right. This motor loved it. By far the fastest thing yet. Still pulling at the end of the straight. I had a friend temp it after a couple of minutes and it was at 108*. I stayed out for about 5minutes more then he temped again and it was at 120*. I cant wait for tomorrow. I wont say not to try it for yourselves but then again you never know till you try.

Hey all....

Fresh shipment of D3.5 17.5 motors should be set to ship Thursday. Those looking for great motor so fast they tried to Ban it..Now is your chance to get a great deal..Now thru Oct 31st D3.5 Ripper motors will be on SALE on the website.

Josh..70*..Yikes that asking for trouble..But you have been one on the edge..LOL Just be careful if motor is still pulling at the end of the straight that is a sure sign of over geared. Motor should really just pull 3/4 the longest straight aprox ..any further it will strain on the infield and produce issues that can result in lack of infield power or risk or hurting motor.

Nice!

Well I got greedy! I was fine at 70* on motor so I took it to 75*timing and she POOFED! Very pleased with performance at 70* so it was possible. And yes testing the boundaries is definitely me!

Hey john any tips for 1/12 Pan car running express killshot rpm? Right now running stock timing and 80-90 roll out. Sound about right? Or is there a sweet spot for the tip out. Running on med/large track

RPM Kill Shot, Yes that's a awesome 1/12 motor. Same as we used at IIC. I would start as I have it at timing wise. Depending on track if its Large/med track I would start about 98MM. At IIC we were up toward 102MM that was rolling the corners well. That would be a good starting point.

Hope this helps...
