Default Help! Changing engine bearings to Boca, Which way do the seals face?

Hi all

I am changing the bearing in my vspec to boca ceramic bearings...

I have only just reliased once i have completed the job that the front bearing had 1 black seal and 1 blue seal.

When it was frozen i couldn't tell and didn't noticed before it went in the freezer...

Which way should the seals face or does it not matter?

I know some of you remove the inner seal but this is one of their MX bearings with rubbers seals to stop bearing leaks so they both stay in...

thanks all hopefully i got it the right way in!!

Thankyou all, i also confirmed this with BOCA via email. cheers

TKO bearings are harder toc ome by then boca in oz so i went with boca.

I have installed a boca 2RU front bearing and a RB engines hybrid rear bearing. both ceramic except the rear has 3 metal balls to handle the vibrations...

cheers!
