Hi Marcus,

You mentioned “the shims are not needed and free up the difs dramatically, just remove them, I have yet to ever strip the dif gears and all of the team drivers run them this way. But to answer your question with the shims in 60k/10k feels close to the same. Car will run better with them out “

Please identify the part for the shims to take out # T08304 or #T08633,

Thank you again for the support...

Regards Rob

Hi! The shims you want to remove are the ones behind the smaller gears, there are four of them. In my opinion you should not remove the shims that are behind the bigger gears (2 of them) because they are necessary to keep the rubber seals under them from warping or being torn.

[QUOTE=tonylunatic;12755760]I had a koolaid smile all weekend since finishing up my long awaited and detailed build and breaking in my motor. But today I was jumping with JOY, I finally got to run it and let me tell you fellas its a TOTAL BEAST!! Here's a couple of pics.

Those unfamiliar to our world could never appreciate the sense of accomplishment derived from unveiling and testing a new build! Congrats Tony -She looks great!

Thanks Evo and your right most won't appreciate the sense of accomplishment. Especially since the generations have changed to a "instant gratification" type.
The actual build took me about 3 months, since my free time is very limited. But I wanted everything just right before putting an once of fuel in her.
I did build the IGT8F "SPEC" car before starting on my Pro car you see now.

Now we just have to show up to race together, your the only person I know to actually drop a Virtues in a GT. Would like to see how the Reds M7WC compares.

Still have the p5. Still has a ton of pinch. Quick to. Started the season with it. Bought a used 35plus21 that didn't last long. Put the p5 back in. Then I bought a picco boost .28 bc it was cheap. 169$ thru A main with a credit I had and the Labor Day 10% discount. Super fast for the money. Tons of usable low end. Runs hard on the straight. An OS black head on road will start to creeps like the last 10 feet of the straight.

Fastest 1/8 open guys are running the black os speed on road. Virtues nowhere to be seen. Keep on's have nothing for the os. I see some reds stickers on 1/8th open cars so I'm assuming there running the reds you speek of???? Os is def the fastest iv seen 1/8 and gt. I just haven't had the green. Plus I like doing it will less and I'm not a tq driver anyway so cheaper motors I like.

Was dog fighting with a few gt's on a practice day with this boost and it gave up nothing to the expensive on roads. Gets 7 to 7:30 a tank. Prob gunna try a kappo for next year or a picco torque .21
