Its actually alot of fun because you end up running against 25 other racers so its good practice and the class is always full with an A, B, and sometimes C mains. The format is different but I like it. I havene ran the track with the new clay but there is great traction now so its supposed to be like WC clay.

Airland should be fun too.

Wow thats great they have that big of a mod class down there!!! I love club racing mod class!!! Mod is fun reguardless. I have given up on the 17.5 4 wheel class and only run mod now. There has been a consistent 4 wheel mod buggy class at WC on Saturdays for months now I hope it transfers on to other tracks. Thats cool SDRC brought in clay it was the right thing to do for sure!! Im so stoked on Airland!! Hopefully I can get a heard of Murfdogg goods there!!

Matt, Doug D loaned me one of your batteries to try out (2s 65c 5500mah), I have to say that was the best battery pack I have ever ran. My car was fast. I am intrested in getting two of them for myself.

Matt - Had a lot of questions about MurDogg motors and batteries at the "Best of the Best" dirt oval race in Jacksonville, FL yesterday...

Check PM.

Thanks.

Start at a 4.0 FDR with 4 degrees of motor timing.

Has anyone tried using this motor with a Speed Passion GT 2.1 Prostock with latest timing software?

Soldered up a 17.5 in my TC, revved it up on the bench and all was fine. Ramped up with timing as expected. Placed it on the track, pulled the trigger, the car jerked a second, moved forward at 1/4 speed when using full throttle. The ESC started flashing a green light. From the troubleshooting guide it says the sensors are not being read. If you turn off\on the ESC it revves up again when holding the car as expected. Put it on the track same thing starts moving forward but with no timing and the green light is flashing again.

This motor works perfectly fine, the sensor wire is fine (works a Ballistic without a problem).

This exact same scenario happened with a 17.5 LRP X12 motor.

Any Ideas?

Thanks,
Brent

Default speed passion esc

i had the same problem with my 13.5 murfdogg motor in WGT. i worked for a week with the techs at speed passion on different programming and still had the issue. it must be a cross in the motor esc combo. you might ask Matt if he was aware of this issue with the combo. i did switch to a tekin rs pro and have had no issues.

Very interesting, I'll have to try this motor with my Tekin RS and see if it has a similar issue.
