No problem
This is just a training body and it is on a car that is used to master the driving skills for Pro10
My real race car is yet to be assembled
Waiting on carbon fibre for the new chassis and then building time
Look at sig to see what it will be

regards Roy

Smile Hi All

Great thread guys, taken me a while to get through it all. Good to see these beasts are gaining in popularity overseas, hopefully the same will be said for NZ sooner rather than later.

Just thought I'd post a pic of my Associated RC10R5.1, 235mm Pan car.

Its a 235mm conversion made locally in NZ by an enthusiast, he has built and sold a couple and I managed to get my hands on this one a few months ago when he bought himself an RC Devil pan car.

We had the New Zealand Electric Onroad Championships a couple of weeks ago and I managed to TQ and win the Pro10 finals with this car, running a Tekin RS with Redline 13.5 Turn brushless and 2 cell lipo. Wicked fast and close racing all weekend.

Heres a video from the second Pro10 Final. The guy filming was following his friends car for most of the race but you get some idea of the speed the 13.5 2S produces.

You'll have to go to Youtube and cut and paste this to see it

Enjoy!

Nice one indeed
There should be more countries all over the world that need to run this class.

Man that must have been hard for him, being beaten by his own car that he has sold for another, funny but good job

How were the driving conditions? The track looks wettish with dark spots on it.

Wasn't that the same guy with the shock problem on the RC Devil?

Yeah but he is a real good guy, just super passionate about the Pro10's, he races a 12th as well. I think he is a member on this forum so there is likely to be pics of the car as he was building them around a year ago?
Luckily for me he was there with spare carbon parts as I broke a rear pod and front bumper in practice by clipping the cats-eyes that were on every apex. The track was a bit of a car breaker as it is set up for Touring cars, not Pans.

It rained quite a bit on the weekend, however the track was pretty dry in that video but there were patches where moisture seeped up thru cracks in the Tar. The track is in Manawatu which is about a 6 hour drive from Auckland.

I tried posting some more pics of the chassis of my car but for some reason I got a message saying the administrator would have to approve it first??? So hopefully that post should show up here soon. Going to run the car indoors on carpet tonight for the first time, the track is normally pretty tight so should have my work cut out for me

Cheers all

I just got the protoform body too, and am wondering where I cut the side dams out from. I'm looking all over and I don't see any flat areas large enough. Do I need to supply my own lexan for them?

On a side note, is anyone interested in sending me about 4 bottles of Foam Liquid for an additional fee, name your price. The guy doesn't answer my emails... I really want to try it out!
