Just spoke to the Mar Hau Beach Resort and we’re starting to fill up real nice for our Nitro Beach event this January 10-13, 2008.

There are other fine beach resorts just down the road from Nitro Beach, but if you want to be able to walk over to your own beach cottage or room, you’d better hurry.

Winter time in Puerto Rico attracts a lot of people to their perfect sun-worshiping beaches.

There are 2 International Airports in Puerto Rico.

Rafael Hernandez International in Aguadila is very close to “Nitro Beach”; in fact Augadila is the neighboring town to Isabela. It is about a 20 - 30 minute drive. However, not all airlines fly there, check with your travel agent.

Luis Munoz Marin International in San Juan is where most flights arrive to Puerto Rico. The island’s interstate system is excellent and drive time to “Nitro Beach” is a about a 1 1/2 hour drive in the country.

We will be working on detailed drive maps for both airport locations and will post them shortly.

If you’re thinking of attending the 1st Annual RC Pro Caribbean “Nitro Beach” race, you will experience a great R/C racing vacation on our very own piece of paradise.
