The track is also sponsered by Schmacher and many other companies like Castle Creations give good deals for the soldiers.
Daldrich275,

I was out there last night, however everyone was busy getting ready for the next race and I didnt want to bother them. I want to get into racing here, I run pan cars back home, so I dont know much about off road racing. Whats your biggest class right now for electric and nitro, I want to order a car this week so I can be racing in 2. What trucks are most people running out there for both the biggest classes? You can email me at [email protected]. I appreciate your assitance.

Hey guys I am an ex soldier and was deployed twice... when I got out of the Cavalry in 06 though everyone was getting into running nitro at Liberty, F.O.B. Sykes, and at Beurhing. If you guys got any questions about what is going to be needed for a kit out there or need any electrical gear help let me know. I run an E conversion 1/8th scale RC8 and a 1/10th scale RC10 b4.

I saw in the prior post that mamba/castle discounts soldiers, If you guys are going to do an 1/8 brushless then, I'd suggest the mamba monster 2200kv (3rd Gen). If you are looking into 1/8 buggies some need upgraded parts like my RC8e (Aluminum Factory Shocks), and some like the Losi 2.0 come with electronics preinstalled that seem to have motor issues.

I can tell you guys exactly what you'll need to build anything, 2mod, 4mod, charging gear etc. Stay safe

Bobby I will send you and e-mail, but the most common car out there seems to be the e-revo.

Crash thanks for the post. I will let everyone know. I will be heading out of here in about a week (back to Lewis) and I will see you at T.R.C.R..

It is a CAT. I run a B4 and a CAT. Should be picking up a 1/8 within the next few weeks. Have to spend some time with the wife when I get back and wait for the cars to get back home in the mail, but I hope to be out their within the next month. Talk to you later.

I'll be in Liberty soon for TYAD by way of AMC as a civilian. Definately bringing my B2 and B3 Factory Team. I just need some cells since they haven't been run in about eight years.

Looks like it's definately a buggy track, no dirt oval. I guess I'll adapt and overcome!

Who's my POC for this?

I have heard there are tracks over there. Good to see if I deploy I can still have the time for racing.

I started a social group here a while back for other AF guys to share info on RC racing where they are stationed at. Take a look: http://www.rctech.net/forum/groups/usaf-rc-racers.html

Tekin is now offering good discounts for military personnel, 60% I think.

Their 1/8 scale speedos and motors should help you guys out.
