Ok as i said earlier, SH will not allow them to sell it as XTM. SH is a far bigger name than that of XTM.
Again do you understand my first point. As i did understand your last one.

At this point, it'd be impossible for that buggy to sell well in the USA by Hobby People under the name of SH.

Hobby People does not carry enough SH product for the SH name to be popular enough for it to sell.

SH is not a popular name at all, since they are basically a company that manufactures engines mostly for other companies. If it weren't for Megatech and their dozens of badged SH engines... the company wouldn't be anywhere near where it is now.

Remember what happened to Team Magic? Trinity sold their cars under the name Trinity... when trinity sold the vehicle under the Team magic name... the buggy has NOT sold at all to what it could have.

Well then its hobby peoples problem then. Its all about marketing. If they can not market the SH brand then it should be given to someone who can.

You are definitely not from America

it wont happen, at least here in the states.

I contacted SH about me becoming their main distributor for SH branded product... they told me that I would ONLY be able to get product from Hobby People since they are strictly the USA distributor. I figure ok, lets see what Hobby People/Global Hobby has to offer.

I contacted them for SH engines... they say they are slowly pushing SH products to rest They make more money by spending the money to have SH etch XTM on their crankcases and cooling heads and exhausts to sell them as XTM.

SH BRAND is being smothered by Hobby People/Global Hobby.

No im not from the US, your right. im from a place that is considered normal joke of course.

For them to say they are putting the SH brand to rest in the US says it all.

kinda figured you were outta the country...

well, the NEXT XTM engine thats actually a rebadged SH engine is this one:

Its known as the SH PT002.

They wont even bother selling SH branded engines anymore, which is why their SH pro .12's are so cheap these days...

SH most likely formed the Z-Car company to circumvent Hobby People exclusive US distribution deal.

Keep in mind that SH is a part of the Dutch LEGO Group which is a very large multi-national corporation. They are not going to sign Greg Degani and not have proper distribution and product support in the largest single market in the world.

Enjoy your SH branded products while you can

You know darn well everything is "LIMITED" at Hobby People for a reason.

I refuse to do further business with them. If I can find that ONE SH engine i noted on ebay or some other site, I'll buy it... but other than that, it'll never make it to America.

Dynamite Platinum Series must be pretty darn good, I saw in a couple magazines where some young kid qualified for the 8th scale Worlds running one.

You'll find people running with all sorts of engines... it all comes down to how good the driver is with his/her equipment.
