Funny. Im plugging up this thread. This thread was started by someone who wanted peoples thoughts on the 8.2 and comparing it with the so called front running car was perfect so what are you talking about homeboy? And whats to hate man? Its just a RC car thats over priced which you agree with but you went out and got one anyways. Now you're going to buy the 8.2. Why? Because its a car that may be just as good if not better for half the price.

I've never broken or bent one. The only item I did break was a front bulkhead; I forgot to put a couple critical screws in as a result of a late night build The parts that actually do break on the MP9 are priced very competatively.
I do hope the 8.2 is good; I saw Richard Saxton's a few weeks ago and it looked descent. Should be a good car.

Not only have I seen a couple of guys bend a front Kysho tower , I actually saw a Team driver break one and theres other parts on a Kyosho that breaks that is over priced. But what breaks and doesnt break on this car is not what this is all about. The car is over priced in my opinion and a lot of guys have gone out to buy it just so they can have the most expensive car. did it make you a better driver? Did you start winning more races with it? For some yes but for a lot I bet no.I totally agree with the post above, its 90% driver and 10% car.

Nice debate.
Dealer's are NOT supposed to sell the Tki2 for less than 899.99.
Meanwhile Losi race rollers were going for 550.00 the other day. Pretty sweet.
I've driven most of these cars and setup is obviously critical. Did the guy whose car you drove build the shocks right? Was his setup spot on? Too many variables for me. I own several 8ight 2.0's and they are great. I've also driven the tki2 and it turned well but didn't jump as straight. Could be the shocks or something on that particular car. The best cars I drove overall out of all of them were the Losi, Mugen, and D8. The D8 was impressive, and it was the $300 one. Made me pretty sick at the thought of buying the tki2.

A lot great points. losi 2.0 is a decent car and yes $550 is decent but you have to dump another $300 in it to make it a true race roller. I had a 2.0 T.

Also a good point. It is time for a real TLR 8ight 2.0 Team Kit. Throw all of the needed stuff in the box. I dont' see any need at all for a 3.0 or a new edition. The cars are awesome... you do need some things though to get them dialed and it does cost extra. There is no perfect car though, and going fast and staying together costs a lot of money.

We have been selling Losi Race-Rollers for $400 for the better part of the year.
