Default Wallee's T-Maxx Build!

Not going to be doing anything to extravagant but I purchased a project T maxx and am going to be first getting it back in running order. Right off the top of my head I am going to be installing the traxxas big bore shocks, new radio system, new hubs and hexes for a Truggy style rim and tire. Truck already has rpm arms all the way around and the 3.3 engine. Any suggestions on what else would need a upgrading? Pics will be uploaded of the truck tonight as it sits right now!

One thing I can think of I will need is a really strong steering servo, any suggestions?

go with rpm parts every where you can. aluminum bulkheads, aluminum chasis braces.

look into savox servo's. really good servo and good price!

whats your price range on servo's? are you looking for 200oz-in or 300+ oz-in of torque?

Aluminum bulkheads are the first thing i would do. Suspension is pretty tough on a maxx truck with aluminum bulks and RPM arms.

Post up some pictures

Why not just go with the traxxas ones:

Will i still use the stock bulk head on mine been holding up that way for years. I would look up rc raven website and check there tmaxx parts out they have some good springs. Cheap aluminum skids that hold up well. Just dont buy the aluminum bumper or the mount for them you want those to flex if the you hit something. But when you go with the big bore shock you will need to keep the old spring cups if you want to buy the rc raven springs cause the big bore shock are thinner than the plastic ones. Will you gonna have a project for sure hope you got a big bill fold cause these rigs cost money.

As of now my project truck doesnt even have a full set of shocks. These are really cheap and are the stock ones. Anyone know if they are any good?
