RC track in waldorf Maryland
Just finished the layout. I walked it off. 10 ft lanes. and a linear footage of 701 feet. I have room to go 900 if i need to. Hoping to run the bobcat in a day or so after work to get jumps set up. im still a ways off, but hey its a work in progress. Gonna be nice once im finished. anyone have any ideas on a good lap counting system?

There is a track in Gaithesburg ,MD... runs 2wd buggy, 4wd buggy, 2wd SC ,4wd short coarse. Great place for running in the winters... Indoor track with some great ppl around and the owner is real nice and knowledgeable....Its got the jumps and the bumps but the base is mostly asphalt and carpet...

ITs going to be a great place to goto this summer when its raining or TOO damn hot.... Great folks... Great facility...

The track in Hagerstown is called Full Throttle rc. Check them out on the web at Fullthrottlerc.net for some pics of the track and the 2011 race scedule. I believe they are going to change the layout a little this year but I am not positive. PM Alf420 or killa b on this site for more information or check out the full throttle rc thread.

NRC is a nice large track. Huge Tabletop jump.
We hosting Round 3 of the ROAR region 2 series this year. Its going to be a good season at NRC.

electric or nitro? southern md lost a few over last several years in both varieties. prince frederick, hmm, gaithersburg manageable? think guys are gettin more into occasionally goin to bigger regional races than the wkly club deal in terms of 1/8 nitro. 1/10 (my fav) has always struggled in this area, evne with advent of SCT, dirt tracks for them simply dont exist. it stinks and for years i've been driving long ways to go up into south PA to hit some of the few that are present.
