Default i cant decide!!

alright i have come to find i need to get a buggy to be competitive around here, i cant decide on whether to get a the losi 8 or a hotbodies d8, i will be runninga mugen jx-21 with an ofna jp-3 pipe. which is more reliable and which is easier to find parts for and of course which one is the fastest in your opinion.

also looking at the mugen mbx6 but that is only if i cant get enough money for that, opinions on how it would compare to the other to as well! thanks
!

Have you considered the AE RC8? I have also been looking at the D8 mainly because of the Hara win and the low price.

IMO Losi is much better than the d8. Parts are available at any hobby shop that carries horizon and most of them do. For the price of the 1.0 kit right now it is very hard to beat. The mbx6 is also a great buggy. The assiated(yes assiated) well Let me say one thing Thunder chicken. No the associated is a good buggy too but how many versions of the gas tank do they have? I believe it is something like 7 and they all leak. you wont be dissappointed with a losi.

are you talking about the Eight that you can get at A-main for $275.00 or the 2.0? the original eight is a great buggy, and you will be happy with it. personally i'm not a fan of the rc8, but thats just an opinion, i know a couple of people that are happy with theirs. if your just starting out, $275.00 for the original eight would be money well spent, and parts are very easy to get.

seeing that your from the dfw area, i'd go with the eight. i can count on one hand how many rc8's are here and i'd have to take my clothes off to count how many eights are in this area.

they are servo eaters, but if you read the addendums and do what they say you will be fine. i've had two eights and never burnt out a servo.

You need to know a little about build and set up for the Losi 1.0. Get help. You need to set the end points right, and make sure you cushion the bottom of the radio tray, and you will be fine. For $275, its for sure the best thing out in that price range
