Obiously in "Blinky" 17.5 TC you dial in motor timing and gearing.

Where do I start my motor timing when using speedo timing?

Touring car Epic 3.5 13.5 and 1cell 1/12 scale with Reedy Sonic 17.5.
Indoor track, carpet, basketball court size gym.

Start the motor timing at Zero if running boosted.

To to confirm:

1) Brake Freq...does this mean brake strength? is 2 KHz stronger than 1.1 KhX and so on?
2) PWM...this equates to max torque/rpm characteristics at specific engine RPM, thus 4K will deliver more torque at lower RPM than say 32 K, correct? Preferred for blinky?
3) Some say that they are using 3% Initial Brake, but I cannot choose 3% on the programmer card, only 2 or 4%, could it be that I have the wrong version S/W in the programmer box? It would seem that I have V.2 S/W in the programmer box & V2.2 S/W in the ESC...

Appreciate everyone's support.

Thanks!

Default Setup is V3 paramaters, slightly different to V2

[QUOTE=mhavlena;11403540]To to confirm:

1) Brake Freq...does this mean brake strength? is 2 KHz stronger than 1.1 KhX and so on?
*Other way around, also has a feel about it too.

2) PWM...this equates to max torque/rpm characteristics at specific engine RPM, thus 4K will deliver more torque at lower RPM than say 32 K, correct? Preferred for blinky?
*Not sure on blinky but will effect gearing and motor heat. Try each for punch and feel.

*Its a V3 thing, but once again try either way for feel!

The latest speedys are shipped with V3 so the update wont be too far behind.
We are trying to get the original V2 as a download so we can go between the two configs...

cheers...
