Just pump the shaft in and out a few times (what she said...). It's an emulsion shock so you need to mix the air with the oil evenly. It will balance out.

I'm going to leave the 17.5 in there for this Sunday and see how I like it but want to be prepared with a mod motor depending on how things sort out with classes as we get going on the new track.

Well I'm not gonna tell u what to fun but 17.5 is whatevery body is running because its plenty of fast and more controllable plus the track ain't that big so you can't open it up with the 8.5 like you can with the 17.5

Has anyone ever made these homemade wing mounts? The spacers are the old axle spacers off the b4 before they went to hex. Went behind the hub pin. Then you cut of some of the post and drill a hole. I cut just enough so the wing still sits onto the posts. I did this to my b4 as well. All of the screw wing mounts I have seen are all aluminum. I don't think I can trust aluminum mounted to my shock tower. Because when you flip over, the front shock tower and the rear wing take all the impact, and being the wing mounts are mounted in the middle of the shock tower I could see it snapping the tower. Rather have the mounts be flexible

Did mine the same way, only I used wing washers from 8th scale.wings last longer now without those little clips to tear through the wing.

It will initially from the vacuum created when bleeding but after pumping the shaft quickly in and out a few times it will equalize and be fine.

couldnt agree more. the wing stay solid until its time to replace it. never had one where it would rattle on the mounts like they did being mounted with clips

In general Blue is my favorite color. But for RC I prefer it to be blacked for the most part. Also, the Avid's are keyed to prevent popping off.

ive never had a spring perch rip off. it has to be slid up and then pushed over for that to happen.
